Fees & fit

What working with Morrowgate costs.
And what you get for it.

Know what the work involves, what it costs, and what happens next, before you decide anything.

The first step

What a first email gets you. It’s free.

A direct reply from Greg about what you’re facing, and whether Morrowgate is the right place to help. The point is to pin down the real question, any deadline, and whether talking further is worth your time.

A clearer starting point

Separate what needs deciding now from the bigger questions behind it.

A useful next step

Clarify whether to talk further, gather a few facts, or involve another professional.

A choice about proceeding

An inquiry does not book a meeting, create a paid engagement, or enroll you in a service.

Where we fit

When the pieces need to work together.

The work is most useful when your investments, income and family priorities all ride on one big decision: retirement, a business transition, an inheritance, or managing wealth after a sale.

Already have an advisor, CPA or attorney? Tell us. We’ll work out what’s missing and who should own it. Specialist legal, tax, valuation or transaction work stays with the professional qualified to do it.

The work itself

Before you pay, know exactly what you will receive.

Before paid work starts, we agree what you want to be able to decide and what you’ll receive. Depending on the agreed engagement, that may include an income and spending view, a map of accounts and their purpose, scenarios for a transition, or a prioritized action list.

A useful scope states which assumptions will be tested, which questions require outside advice, who will handle each action, and when the work will be reviewed. A first inquiry is an introduction—not a completed financial plan.

Cost and terms

How fees work.

Fees depend on the scope of work. We will explain the pricing and any applicable account minimum before you decide whether to proceed. This page does not quote a universal fee.

  • Calculation: the amount or method used to calculate the fee.
  • Coverage: the services, deliverables, and review schedule included.
  • Other costs: any additional charges or fees paid to other firms.
  • Timing: when fees are charged and how the agreement can be ended.

Ask for these terms in writing. Use them to compare the actual scope and total cost of the engagement.

Keep it simple

What should you share first?

A few sentences: what changed, what you’re trying to decide, and whether there’s a deadline. Mention who’s already helping you and what you want the outcome to be.

You do not need to send account numbers, tax returns, statements, or closing documents with an initial inquiry. If a deeper review makes sense, the next conversation can establish what information is needed and how to provide it.

Start with your question

Not sure it’s a fit? Ask.

Tell us what you need to decide. Greg will tell you straight whether Morrowgate is the right place to start.
